The Specialization Tower Planner has been completely redesigned.
This is not a new tool created from someone else's work. The original Specialization Tower Planner was developed from the ground up as part of our own Rise of Castles Tools project.
This new version is the next step in that project.
We rebuilt the interface and reworked the way the Tower is presented so that the experience is much closer to the Specialization Tower inside Rise of Castles.
The objective was simple:
Give players a familiar visual representation of the Tower while providing powerful tools to plan, track, and optimize their progression.
Built Around the In-Game Tower
The redesigned planner follows the structure of the Specialization Tower much more closely.
Research columns, nodes, icons, progression and visual elements have been organized to reproduce the experience players already know from the game.
Instead of looking at a conventional calculator or a simple research list, you can interact with a visual representation of the Tower itself.

Each specialization can be planned and tracked independently.
What Can Free Players Do?
The planner is available to everyone.
Free players can open and use the Tower to visualize their progression and interact with the nodes.
You can:
View the complete Tower
Select Footman, Archer or Cavalry
Mark and unmark nodes
Explore researches
See research progression
Examine bonuses
View Legion Skill milestones
Test different possible builds
This makes the tool useful even if you are not a VIP member.
However, there is an important limitation:
Free users cannot save their Tower progress.
If you leave the page or change devices, your marked progress is not permanently stored.
VIP Basic — Save Your Build Locally
For players who simply want to keep their progress saved in their own browser, there is the VIP Basic plan for only $1.
VIP Basic allows you to save your Specialization Tower progress locally in your browser.
This means you can return to the planner and continue from where you stopped, without having to manually mark everything again.
However, local saving has an important limitation:
Your local Tower progress is only stored in that browser.
It is not synchronized with your account and it is not used by other tools on the website.
So if you use VIP Basic, your saved progress remains a local planning tool.
VIP 1+ — Your Tower Becomes Part of the Site
With VIP 1 or higher, the experience goes much further.
Your Specialization Tower progress can be saved in the cloud and associated with your account.
This means your progress is no longer limited to one browser.
More importantly, the saved Tower data can be used by other features of the Rise of Castles Tools ecosystem.
Your Specialization Tower becomes part of your overall profile and can be used across the site where supported.
This is especially useful for players who use multiple tools and want their progression information to work together instead of maintaining separate records manually.

Understand Your Bonuses
Every research is more than simply a Badge cost.
The planner allows you to inspect the bonuses associated with individual nodes and research milestones.
The Bonus Breakdown helps you understand:
What bonuses you have already obtained
What bonuses remain available
How much a research contributes to your build
Which milestones are still incomplete
This makes planning much more transparent.
Efficiency Ranking
One of the most useful additions for players who want to optimize their investment is the Efficiency analysis.
Researches can be ranked according to the amount of bonus they provide relative to their Badge cost.
The system assigns efficiency tiers:
S · A · B · C
You can also filter the results to focus specifically on incomplete researches.
This gives players a practical way to answer:
Which research gives me the best return for my next Badges?
Cost Simulator
Planning a Tower is not only about knowing what to upgrade.
You also need to know how much it will cost and how long it may take.
The Cost Simulator allows you to set different goals, including:
Complete all researches
Complete a specific column
Reach a target completion percentage
You can also enter your estimated daily Badge income.
The planner can then estimate the time required to reach your objective.
Compare Your Troop Specializations
The Compare Troops feature allows you to compare your Footman, Archer and Cavalry progression.
You can analyze differences in:
Nodes completed
Badges invested
Overall progress
Completed columns
Bonus categories
This provides a quick overview of how your investments compare between troop types.
One Tool, Different Levels of Access
The system was designed so that players can start using the planner for free and upgrade only when they need additional functionality.
