🏰 The merging of Brackets 2 and 3 Redefines the Eden Map in Rise of Castles

ree

Rise of Castles has just received a major update that reshapes the structure of the server groups — known as Brackets. The headline change: the fusion of Bracket 2 and Bracket 3, allowing all states from both groups to join the upcoming Eden seasons together.

📘 Context:In Rise of Castles, each server is called a State, and a collection of states forms a Bracket.Inside each Bracket, players compete in Eden — the most strategic and competitive mode in the game.

⚙️ The Fusion: Bracket 2 + Bracket 3

With this new configuration, states S728–S906 and S3001–S3029 (previously Bracket 3) have been incorporated into Bracket 2.The Eden map for Bracket 2 has already been released, including alliances from both groups — marking the first step toward full integration.

⚠️ Important:Players from the former Bracket 3 cannot migrate between states yet.The fusion will become fully effective after the current season ends, when migration restrictions are lifted.

📈 Power Comparison — Bracket 1 vs Bracket 2

The Bracket 2 + 3 fusion makes sense in terms of progression, but it raises a deeper question about competitive balance. When we compare the top alliances from Bracket 1 and 2, the difference in total power is almost negligible.

🧠 Strategic Insight — Should Bracket 1 and 2 Merge Next?

📉 Based on this data, Bracket 2 is already on par with Bracket 1.Aside from 4dK, which sits in a league of its own, alliances such as Odi, UaO, and goW (B2) are matching E1N, CXF, and WfT (B1) in strength and coordination.

💬 My take:Even with slightly less total power, Odi, after major reinforcements this season, could now challenge 4dK competitively. If the game’s goal is to promote balanced and intense wars, then the logical next fusion should be between Bracket 1 and 2 — not 2 and 3.

🔥 Graphical takeaway:In the power chart above, the orange (B2) and blue (B1) bars nearly overlap — a visual proof that both brackets are now balanced in power distribution.

Should Bracket 1 merge with Bracket 2?

  • YES

  • NO

🔮 What to Expect Next

This fusion is still a major step, mainly for aligning the mid-tier Brackets.Players from the former Bracket 3 will now face stronger alliances, raising the strategic and tactical standards of their Eden campaigns.

But looking ahead, it’s hard not to imagine a more ambitious future:

🕊️ a Global Eden War, where the most powerful Brackets collide on a unified battlefield — something the community has long awaited.

🏁 Conclusion

The Bracket 2 and 3 fusion is more than just technical restructuring — it’s a strategic adjustment to the game’s competitive ecosystem. However, it also reignites the discussion around true balance and the long-term future of Rise of Castles.

If balance is the goal, then the next logical step should be merging Bracket 1 and 2 —a showdown that would undoubtedly define a new era of the Eden wars. ⚔️
